Disneyland for Daddy's birthday!

The Matterhorn was the very first roller coaster daddy ever went on. Now the tradition continues. Leiya, at 3 years old rode the Matterhorn. She even yelled "Boo!" at the Yeti inside the ride. Good thing Leiya yelled at the Yeti.....it kept her from seeing how scared daddy was.....mommy rode it as well and was in front. She got to see how wide eyed Leiya was during the ride.....it was a lot of fun!

On the way home, we went to The Grove, an outdoor mall in the Hollywood area. This was the view from the parking garage....

Looks like our little Leiya has forgotten that she has a little BROTHER...but it doesn't look like Lukas minds that much.....

Our Little miss Leiya loves to change her clothes instead of going to sleep. Looks like she wanted to be a ballerina...too cute!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY LUKAS!!!!!!

Wow, what a year it has been and a fast year at that! Lukas turned 1 year-old today at 10:20....We had such a fun day with our two beautiful kids! Most of the day was spent decorating for Lukas' birthday party, it was a Mickey Mouse theme.

Below are some pictures of the day. The first one is his official birthday, note the time on the microwave...then the moment before he blew out the candle all by himself..wink wink....then, him eating the cake in a very civilized manner, followed by a birthday rocking horse, made by Papa!

Happy 11 months Lukas!

Our trip to the Aquarium

We had an awesome time at the Aquarium in Monterey. Lukas and Leiya both loved seeing all of the wonderful things in this place. Of course, they LOVED the big fish tanks, but also loved to see the Jellyfish, Sea Otters, Penguins and other wonderful animals at the Aquarium.

Leiya's Ballet Performance

This year, Leiya began taking Ballet lessons. As part of this, she had a role in the winter performance of "The Nutcracker." Leiya was a mouse, and as far as we are concerned, she was the best mouse out there! Leiya absolutely loved it and had a lot of fun! Thank You to Kaelyn, who is in one of the more advanced classes, for helping out Leiya and showing her the part.

Thank you to all who came to the performance, it made it very special for us and Leiya!

Well, it is hard to believe it has been 3 years! Seems like yesterday that our little baby Leiya was born...now it seems as though she has grown up so much. We are so glad she is in our lives. We are proud to be her parents. Thank you to everyone who came to make her day special and took time for our little princess.

I wanted to tell you, how cool the birthday cake was. As you can see from the picture below, it looks awesome! And, in case you didn't know, Carla made it herself. She loves making cakes and is getting so much better at it! If you look at the next picture you can see how much Leiya loved the cake. She couldn't take her eyes off it.
